Our history
Black Russian Terrier in my life
Our Love for the Black Russian Terrier
In my childhood, I once saw a Black Russian Terrier walking beside a little girl. I remember thinking it was an unusually beautiful dog—one that could protect you from the whole world.
Many years have passed since that moment. Over time, our family shared life with many wonderful dogs—Collies, Labradors, and Dobermans. Each of them was loved deeply, and they filled our home with joy and companionship.
Eventually, the day came when the house became quiet. The children grew up, and our beloved dogs crossed the rainbow bridge.
That was when we realized we finally had the time and opportunity to welcome the dog we had always dreamed of—the magnificent Black Russian Terrier.
Only those who have truly lived with this breed, trained it, and stepped into the ring with it can understand how extraordinary it is. Their intelligence is astonishing; sometimes you forget that this powerful, thoughtful companion is “just a dog.”
Walking across endless fields with your dog, watching it move with strength and elegance, running with the speed and power of a wild animal—it gives you a feeling that is hard to describe. Power, freedom, loyalty.
And when you return home, at your feet lies the most beautiful and devoted companion, asking for nothing in return.
When we brought home our first wonderful black furry ball, we made a decision: not to waste a single minute. Training began immediately.
The Black Russian Terrier is a true working and protective breed. Without proper training, long walks, and mental engagement, a young dog can easily develop socialization challenges. Until about two years of age everything may seem fine—but the real key to success with this breed is early education, structure, and consistent work.
The journey began with first schools, first challenges, first mistakes, and eventually first competitions and shows.
With this breed, the goal is not only to raise a strong and fearless protector of your family—but also a dog that is completely reliable, stable, and obedient. A dog capable of stopping even the strongest instinct at the sound of your command.
Over the years our dogs have proudly participated in events and competitions organized by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC).
Our dogs have been invited to compete in the United States as top representatives of the Black Russian Terrier breed. They have ranked among the Top Three dogs in the Working Group, combining success in both sport and conformation.
Today, our dogs proudly hold positions in the Top-Ten Working Group rankings for both Breed and Rally.
This past year 2025 our 2 dogs in a top-10 BRT list
But above all titles and achievements, the greatest reward remains the same:
Coming home and seeing that loyal pair of eyes looking at you—ready to walk beside you anywhere in the world.

But as you may have guessed, we did not stop there.
Each year brings new challenges and new opportunities to grow. Recently, new sport competitions and disciplines have been introduced, and we are fully engaged in studying the new rules, training harder, and preparing our dogs to meet these exciting challenges.
Our work with the Black Russian Terrier never truly stops—it only evolves.
Our primary goal is to achieve the highest possible level of obedience, stability, and working ability in our dogs. These qualities are not only developed through training but are also carefully preserved through responsible breeding and selection.
This means that when one of our puppies goes to its new home, the foundation is already there.
As future owners, you will not need to start from zero with your exceptionally intelligent puppy. Much of the groundwork—temperament, focus, and willingness to work—has already been laid.
Your task will be a joyful one:
to continue developing your Black Russian Terrier, keeping this remarkable dog in excellent physical condition and strong mental balance, while enjoying the incredible partnership that this breed offers.
Because the Black Russian Terrier is not simply a dog.
It is a powerful companion, a thinking partner, and a loyal guardian of your family and your heart.
We hope that our efforts will guide you towards the best pet ownership - RESPONSIBLE and ENJOYABLE!
